Inspired by the name of the association that created it, the Pata D'Açúcar project opens new horizons
assisting people with diabetes with regard to their self-control. Complementarity to the available equipment the dog as a companion animal reinforces the
permanent monitoring of the blood glucose values to which person with diabetes is subject.

OUR PROJECT
Because life is made of new opportunities, by rescuing dogs from shelters for abandoned animals and preparing them to become Medical Alert Dogs, we give a new direction to the lives of these animals by helping to improve the quality of life of people with diabetes.
